Okay Body, since you've decided to start a channel of your own, I might as well share some experience & offer some advice, if you don't mind. I've watched both videos and I appreciate your willingness to make them, but I hope that time will bring improvement.
1) Okay, Windows Movie Maker needs to go.Trust me, you don't wanna see the kind of shit I did with WMM. I literally throw up whenever I come across my 2010-11 videos in the archive. The point is, this software is too basic if you're serious about opening a gaming channel. It will compress the video in such a shitty way, your head will spin (along with the rest of the audience's). Maybe I'm unfair towards it, but seriously, there's a lot of top-notch software you could start with.
Sony Vegas,
Adobe Premiere,
Pinnacle Studio... just off the top of my head. We're bound by the forum rules, so I can't give links, but you should already have guessed that this kind of stuff doesn't have to come with a license.
It doesn't mean, of course, that once you're done downloading one of those, you should be good to go. You'll still spend a lot of time studying the ins and outs of the program, looking up YouTube tutorials, etc. But treat this as a new beginning. This is a new skill you'll be taking up that you will benefit from in the future. Maybe you'll get so good at it that the local news agency will get in touch with you to discuss your employment prospects.
2) So does the Bandicam textdraw."Bandicam - less lags and a smaller file size," yeah, I know, I know. But there's no need to let everybody know you're using it. I knew someone who did, and you don't wanna know what happened to the gal. The point is, the textdraw should be gone once you install a licensed version. Now, we've already gone through how "licensed" stuff on the Internet doesn't have to be actually licensed. This will probably also boost the quality.
Once you're done with the first two things,
3) you might check out my tutorial on how to - correctly - make 16:9 videos out of those your resolution. (I assume you do have a 4:3 screen resolution, so it should work at least for
Sony Vegas)
Why am I bringing this up? Well, on your screen the video looks just fine, but on rectangular screens it makes those annoying black bars on the sides. It's conventional wisdom that if the bars are to exist (which is inevitable, since screens aren't all rectangular or square) they be above & below the video. So yeah, you should check it out. I'm not bitching about stuff nobody cares about, people will treat this the same as a vertical phone recording (which is certainly bad taste if used in a work of art).
Also,
4) Are you using CamHack? Quit now! Well, you don't have to, but
CamHunt here is waaaaaay better at handling ingame camera control. This is
a video that, although in Russian, might help you understand the basics of camera control in the script.
So, I guess that should take care of things for now. There are other things I wanted to cover, but, hell, these are the emergencies here.
