What has the player done: The player used some sort of healthhacks, which hasn't given him a real-type healthhack, but the weapon that is usually able to kill someone with 3 bullets (without armor) wasn't able to kill the player with 3 bullets. I don't if it is a bug or actually considerable as a sort of hack, but I might just leave it for you here to decide.
