I see a lot of potential in terms of camera work and editing decisions, especially in the newer machinimas, but I'm mostly confused about what's happening on-screen, particularly in the No Smoking / Hot Dog Van storyline. A guy grows annoyed with people defying anti-smoking regulations & becomes maniacal, gets a job vending hot dogs, decides to use human meat? Nobody takes issue with him executing / dismembering a man in the middle of an avenue using numerous weapons? That narrative seems kind of random & highly unrealistic even for a horror story. I mean, yeah, a degree of surrealism can be beneficial, but I just don't get the point of it in this particular case.
I've also had the same issues with my own projects in the past, but the movies I've watched seem really stretched out. There's a lot of unnecessary footage there that could've been cut with little to no loss of info but with great advantages for perception. Frankly, I grew so impatient I put a lot of the footage on fast-forward. Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
I strongly recommend this guy's channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKTHNfjDq0GPIgRKLNJ3A_w/videos) where he, as a machinimer himself, reviewed other people's GTA machinimas. Should be a good watch if not watched already!

If it's about scene in No Smoking at a bus stop, it's like that because he's not doing it yet, he just dreams about it. There is a cut back to him staying at a bus stop watching smoking man and think how he would kill him.
