I suppose that it may be because we've got a really small IP range in my country, which means that it is really likely to cross IPs with someone else - who has probably been banned.

Well, this has been my first time trying to connect to this server, helping a friend out with a movie and it says that I'm ISP banned.

I've never played in this server, so there's no reason for me to be banned.
