Rewarding players in hot pursuit

I have noticed the rarity of used features in hot pursuit like the spike strip or road barrier by the players over the past months. Therefore, the players in hot pursuit rarely work together with exception of using the visible-on-radar feature for cops. That is where I have come to the idea to reward players for doing specific things with more score via script. Feel free to discuss below and give input.

A few examples:
There must be one officer (actively) using the Police Maverick for at least 2 minutes in order to get 5 additional score points for every officer alive and themselves
Spiking the suspect's tires will give the initial officer 2 score points and every other officer in a radius of X meters 1 score
Being in a radius of X meters of the evading suspect will give you 1 score every 2 minutes

Score is usually not that good of an incentive to get people using stuff, because simply most don't care.

But on the other side, I do like this idea. Especially when you've been alive the entire game, just to be killed by the suspect and receiving 0 score... Lemme address each of these points individually.

QuoteThere must be one officer (actively) using the Police Maverick for at least 2 minutes in order to get 5 additional score points for every officer alive and themselves

I'd rather pass on this one, as most of the people are more useful in the car rather than the helicopter. Yes, sometimes it can be useful but not all of the time.

QuoteSpiking the suspect's tires will give the initial officer 2 score points and every other officer in a radius of X meters 1 score

I half agree with this point. The guy who spikes the tyres should be rewarded, but I do not see it necessary for the other guys who did nothing to be rewarded.

QuoteBeing in a radius of X meters of the evading suspect will give you 1 score every 2 minutes

I like this one, as stated above.

You should be seeing some of these implemented in the next update.
